Our VLSI Systems team is a part of the Seagate VLSI team but is not focused on Hard Disc Drive development. We are in a growth area that supports EDS, emerging memories, CSG, and other Seagate teams looking to productize new technologies in either FPGA's or ASIC's. This is currently a smaller team with some exciting new opportunities and needs to build up the team to support the current programs. The team has a solid verification environment built to support legacy projects and has excellent documentation to support these efforts.

• Develop a thorough understanding of DUT requirements and the applicable technologies
• Create UVM agents, monitors, scoreboards, sequences, and test plans for new projects
• Strive to achieve high coverage for all testbenches
• Provide support for multiple UVM chip- and block-level testbenches for current programs
• Provide leadership and guidance for a growing verification team

• Ability and willingness to take lead responsibilities for new testbench development.
• Ability to multi-task to provide support for multiple chip- and block-level testbenches as well as testbench infrastructure.
• Desire to make continuous improvements to testbench infrastructure and verification automation tools.
• We're looking for an experienced verification engineer who is detail-oriented and works well with others. You will not only interact with other verification engineers but also with the FPGA/ASIC design engineers.

• Detailed knowledge of latest verification methodologies
• Solid grasp of System Verilog and UVM methods
• Good scripting skills, preferably Python
• Good communication and leadership skills
• An ideal candidate would have experience in testing one or more of the following interface types: PCIe, NVMe, CXL, DDR.
• We use Synopsys verification tools, so experience with those tools is desirable.
