We are part of the Seagate VLSI Engineering group. Our team designs and verifies HDD read channels for all Seagate HDD products.

• Work with a team of design and verification engineers on the next generation of advanced HDD read channel (DSP/ECC/AI) to be shipped on high volume storage SOCs (System On Chip)
• Work within a cross-team environment to design and develop a new UVM testbench for existing channel design then update and migrate stimulus and checkers from existing testbench.
• Implement automation tools to streamline the building, testing, and release of channel IP.
• Work with system architects to understand algorithms and their operation. Built test scenarios to make sure designs correctly implement these algorithms. Interface directly with architects and designers to discuss issues.
• Write and maintain functional coverage to ensure high coverage of critical design features.

• Hands on experience building verification environments and components using UVM methodologies.
• Scripting language such as Perl or TCL.
• Verilog / SystemVerilog coding experience.
• Working knowledge of ASIC design and verification methodology
• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years experience, or Master's Degree and 5+ years experience, or PhD and 3+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience
