$2,500 SIGN- ON BONUS

The Social Worker II provides clinical social work services to students and their families. Serves as a social work role and training model to graduate social work/counseling trainees and interdisciplinary team members. Develops Mental Health IEP goals and implements those goals as outlined.

EDUCATION

Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work is required.
• Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (L.G.S.W.).
• Must achieve certification in the State of Maryland as a LCSW-C within SW Department policy.

EXPERIENCE

• The Social Work II candidate must have clinical experience through internships or job placements in the provision of services to children and adolescents with developmental, learning and/or emotional disabilities.

RELATED TRAINING

• Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training will be provided by the department. The employee must achieve certification at the "Practitioner" level according to the timeline established within the departmental policy.
• Must acquire sufficient training to maintain licensure.
