The Government of the District of Columbia's Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is an independent agency whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability, and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia.

The OCFO is led by Jeffrey DeWitt, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the District of Columbia and employs more than 1,500 employees who perform a variety of professional, administrative, and technical duties associated with the District's financial operations.

The OCFO's Human Resources Division provides OCFO agencies with a wide array of human resources services and possesses responsibility for maintaining optimal staffing levels within OCFO agencies, through utilization of strategies designed to attract and retain top-tier talent.
