Position Summary:

Responsible for designing, deploying and supporting company's network infrastructure including enterprise data centers, remote office locations, remote studios, LAN/WAN, remote access VPN. Work with business units to ensure their network and security needs are met. Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills, resolve complex network related issues, respond to tight deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate, collaborate and interact with multiple teams to optimize the network and security posture of the infrastructure. Must possess strong project management skills, documentation skills, problem solving skills, provide technological vision for network evolution and ability to mentor and lead other junior engineers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting large scale global network environments.
  • Experience working with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5, Juniper, etc. hardware platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols like BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, DMVPN, IP Multicast, SD-WAN.
  • Experience with L2/L3 switching architecture design, VLANs, vPC, MLAG, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, LACP, STP, RSTP, VTP, QoS, ACLs.
  • Expert level knowledge of wireless technologies standards and protocols including Cisco Wireless Controllers and ISE.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), Cisco AnyConnect, Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN, Remote Access VPN, IPSec VPN.
  • Experience with zero-trust security using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Proficient with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Sniffer, Wireshark, Syslog, NetFlow.
  • Experience with public cloud AWS, GCP and Azure.
  • Experience automating network devices with tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Self-disciplined, self-starter who can work on complex project involving multiple teams.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility of critical issues and conclude them to resolution.
  • Provide operational support for issues that are escalated and participate in on-call support on a rotational basis.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related field
  • 6-10 year's experience working in LAN/WAN environment

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
