Who We Need

?Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Security Cooperation (SC) professionals interested in providing Regional Portfolio Management support services to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Global Partnership directorate (DASD(GP)). The SC Regional Portfolio Manager (for INDOPACOM) will work closely with SC community in developing and executing innovative SC solutions that support mutual U.S. and partner interests. This position is tasked with responding to specific and general requests for support products and programmatic information on Security Assistance (SA) and SC Programs; building and maintaining tracking sheets; and preparing responses for executive presentations using a mix of briefing platforms and office technologies. Services provided under this position will be performed in the National Capitol Region (NCR), Washington, DC, with occasional domestic and international travel. The SC Regional Portfolio Manager shall be a U.S. citizen and maintain an active Top Secret Security Clearance. This is a full-time position.

 

What You'll Do

  • Meticulous management of defense cooperation projects, budgets and oversight requirements;
  • Understanding of DoD programmatic responsibilities for reporting, accountability and executive support;
  • Respond to requests for program information by executive leadership;
  • Research, analyze and package results in response to short-fused requirements;
  • Develop and maintain program tracking tools;
  • Analyze and identify trends, emerging issues or future requirements as part of an overarching program planning and implementation process;
  • Maintain a comprehensive accounting of measures of effectiveness and schedule and progress across the regional SC portfolio;
  • Design and recommend performance tracking metrics;
  • Prepare supporting documents, flow-charts, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations;
  • All other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen;
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required;
  • Bachelor's degree (Business Administration related degree a plus);
  • 8+ years of experience in international security cooperation;
  • 8+ years of experience with program and project management practices, preferably supporting the DoD;
  • Experience supporting DoD programs and strategic initiatives;
  • Strong cross-cultural and multinational negotiation skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a demanding, high energy environment;
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills;
  • Possess strong experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data;
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time;
  • English fluency required;
