Utility Locating Vacuum Truck Operator
Job description
Seeking qualified candidates with experience operating Vacuum Trucks in the performance of vacuum excavation. As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will be the crew lead operating a Vacuum Truck performing vacuum excavation in support of commercial construction projects in the Washington Metro area. CDL not required
RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as the crew lead with a technician operating a Vacuum Truck performing vacuum excavation.
Operate vacuum units and associated equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Complete vehicle inspections and hazard assessments prior to commencing job.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation.
As the crew lead, provide coaching and training of assisting technician.
Carry out the completion of tasks meeting all safety requirements.
Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours occasionally
Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a good driving record
Must have or be able to obtain a DOT card
Pass a pre-employment background screen and drug screen

PHYSICAL ABILITIES Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools; reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time; hearing and speaking to exchange information; carrying 3-5 lb. electronic locating equipment for extended periods of time; lifting objects up to 50 pounds or lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
