Job Description
We are seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the position of AV Programmer. The role will be highly engaged in all programming related activities such as starting and completing programming projects, aiding in the development of standard programming processes and finding competitive means to give Exertis Almo a foot hold in the outsourced AV labor industry.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzes incoming work requests, determines programming scopes of work and provide estimates on labor hours to the sales team.
  • Create code, modules, touch panel designs and layouts for AV System Programming projects.
  • Remotely support partner installers and end users in debugging code and programming problems, fine-tuning AV control systems to their optimal functionality.
  • Occasionally field commission AV systems and load program on-site, assisting partner installers and end users with achieving successful project results
  • Develop new contacts and maintain existing relationships with clients who utilize programming services.
  • Build up the company's ability to support multiple industry programming platforms such as Crestron, AMX and Extron.
  • Assist the engineering team in other Engineering related activities as needed, such as internal peer review, design review, and system design.
  • Audio DSP Configuration as needed on a Project Basis


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a technology based field, preferably audiovisual, but others may be considered
  • AMX Certification or Creston Masters Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
