The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with MedStar Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a full-time position in Washington, DC.
This position will include patient care responsibilities covering the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at both MedStar Washington Hospital Center, an adult Level 1 trauma center, and Children's National Medical Center a pediatric Level 1 trauma center.
Candidates should have an interest in major oral & maxillofacial with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Our department and residency program is known for having a positive culture and emphasis on teamwork. Additional responsibilities will include instruction and mentoring of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents. Qualifications for this position include a DDS/DMD, completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, board-certification, or active participation in the certification process by ABOMS, and eligible for licensure within the District of Columbia.
