POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Project Overview:

The Department of the Army, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) has a continuing requirement for Base Operations and Support Services for the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County, Virginia. The objective of this contract is to provide United States Army Garrison (USAG), Fort Belvoir with base operation support services to include, but not limited to:

  • Unaccompanied housing services
  • Facilities engineering services management
  • Solid waste management
  • Pest management
  • Snow, ice, sand removal
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Maintenance surfaced and unsurfaced areas.

Position Overview:

The GFEBS Lead performs clerical support, coordinates and oversee property control activities to ensure the ongoing accountability of government and company-owned property in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and corporate regulations and policies.

The General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is the web-based asset and accounting system. GFEBS is used as a production scheduling and monitoring system for determining the status of work, maintenance, and repair expenditures against individual facilities. GFEBS is the official system of record for all Real Property Maintenance Activity (RPMA).

The GFEB Lead shall have GFEBS experience with Army Installation and Support Services/Base Operations Support, to lead our team of experienced professionals performing management, administrative, and facilities support services for Base Operations and Support Services at Fort Belvoir in Virginia.

The GFEBS Lead is a full-time position and on site during normal duty hours. The GFEBS Lead shall be available between 0800 - 1600 hours, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Responsible for GFEBS data entry and reporting.
  • Provide oversight and data entry of the GFEBS system.
  • Provide information reported to higher levels of Command.
  • The GFEBS Manager will facilitate the entry of DMO, PMO, OWO and PWO work documents.
  • Oversees the team managing our interactions with GFEBS.
  • The GFEBS Manager shall be available between 0800 - 1600 hours, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons.
  • The GFEBS Lead shall have the following roles in GFEBS:
    1. A76 DPW Contractor PM Master Data Maintainer
    2. A76 DPW Contractor Preventative Maintenance Controller
    3. A76 DPW Contractor GR Processor
    4. A76 DPW Contractor Physical Inventory Maintainer
    5. A76 DPW Contractor PM Material Requirement Planning Maintainer
    6. A76 DPW Contractor PM Order Approver
    7. A76 DPW Contractor PM Order Maintainer
    8. A76 DPW Contractor PM Reporter
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess a working knowledge of GFEBS.
  • Shall have the experience necessary in successfully utilizing GFEBS on a military installation.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully setting up a GFEBS PM Program on a military installation.
  • Shall have, at a minimum, three (3) years of GFEBS experience, specifically dealing with Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE), business intelligence, and projects.
  • Possess or obtain/maintain at minimum a SECRET clearance.
  • Prior military service desired but not required.
