Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International company (PSI), referred to as PSI-PST is seeking a a Senior Configuration Manager (CM) with a solid foundation and at least two years in ServiceNow. The Senior CM will be responsible for the execution of the process. Includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits, and managing the process improvement cycle.

The Senior Configuration Manager must have experience with ServiceNow CMDB and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on all IT assets and their relationships. They work with stakeholders to identify and document configuration items and their relationships, develop, and implement processes and procedures for configuration control, and conduct regular audits of the CMDB.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
    Develop and maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on all IT assets and their relationships.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and document configuration items (CI) and their relationships to other CIs in the CMDB.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for configuration control, status accounting, and metrics definition.
  • Conduct regular audits of the CMDB to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Interface with project teams and individual application stakeholders to ensure alignment with CM requirements and expectations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on CMDB-related issues and provide guidance to other IT teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility into CMDB data and metrics.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of ServiceNow modules related to CMDB and configuration management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT configuration management, with at least 2 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application to configuration management.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • The ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Configuration Management practice module preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing CMDB processes and procedures.
  • Experience conducting CMDB audits and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Configuration Management a plus.

Professional Certifications:

  • ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • The ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Configuration Management practice module preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Configuration Management a plus.
