The Investment Accountant, working under moderate supervision, is involved in managing and maintaining financial records and reports related to investments made by an organization. This role is responsible for the investment accounting process, preparing and reviewing investment transactions, reconciling investment accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role reviews and verifies all investment-related activity of all companies' investment portfolios by verifying and maintaining all purchase, sale, and income information, coordinating all investment data between computer systems, and providing reporting for management and external reporting requirements.
