The Manager of Patient Access at Suburban Hospital:

  • Responsible for managing the front-end Registration and Bed Control functions (operational, financial and human resource management).
  • Responsible for supervision and coordination of coverage for Registration and Bed Control.
  • Ensure day to day registration activities are fully compliant with departmental and enterprise policies, federal/state regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure that patient registrations are timely and accurate.
  • Collaborate with Nursing Management, Physicians, Care Coordination, Patient Financial Services, and payers to ensure financial compliance.
  • Act in the stead of the Director in his/her absence.

Full time Days

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience in physician or hospital Patient Registration
  • At least two years in a supervisory capacity and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or related field required
