The Division of Nephrology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant 3 who is looking to join a fast-paced and high-volume division. As a member of the team, the individual who is chosen will play a key role in the support of Dr. Perkins in his role as MD/PhD Program Co-Director and as Lead of UNM HSC Innovation partnering with the Rainforest by assisting with calendar management, lab and office business, and the faculty, processing reimbursements, and assisting in larger division tasks.

The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in an organized, effective, and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and other common computer programs.
* Experience in calendar coordination and scheduling.
* Experience with UNM's Banner 9, LoboMart, Chrome River, and other UNM programs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects at a time, and time management.
