Sales Hunter - PTC's Digital Thread Portfolio

Location: Remote from Eastern time zone, USA

PTC is seeking an ambitious salesperson to drive new digital transformation sales opportunities in the Eastern US region.

The role will require a self-starting hunter who can create a large pipeline of business in white-space accounts, within a short period of time. You will work with cross-functional teams to formulate account strategies and bring opportunities to closure on a quarterly basis.

  • Have experience managing an extended selling team while also working independently?

Responsibilities:

  • Create a 4x pipeline. Prospect daily to identify potential new customers and qualify new business opportunities. Get meetings with prospects and connect with key decision-makers.
  • Drive the full sales cycle. Lead multiple sales engagements and move the client entirely through a value-based sales process to successful close.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Forecast accurately by maintaining comprehensive opportunity profiles and communicating up-to-date information using Salesforce.com.
  • Become knowledgeable with the PTC portfolio of digital thread products (CAD, PLM, IoT & AR).
  • Develop successful relationships with key partners, working closely to identify, qualify and close new business opportunities.
  • Own your account list and the activity therein.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to work remote from Eastern Time zone, USA
  • 5+ years selling software to large enterprise and/or commercial accounts with preferable 1+ years of fast-paced, "hunter" focused selling
  • Prior experience selling complex, enterprise software to various with average deal sizes of at least ~$250-$500k, closing a deal at $1M+ would be a plus!
  • Consistent, proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Experience leveraging a variety of prospecting tools and techniques
  • Ability to travel ~50% of time
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus
  • MEDDIC and/or Command of the Message experience a plus
