Job Description

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Recruiter Intern in the government cleared space. This internship is ideal for candidates looking to gain valuable experience in recruiting for security clearance requirements, technical skillsets, and talent sourcing in the defense and government contracting industry. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to sourcing efforts, and support our team in attracting top talent. Your work will directly impact the future of our organization and contribute to the success of our clients across various industries.

  • Previous experience in recruiting, particularly in technical or IT roles, is highly valuable.
  • Experience in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.
  • Understanding of technical roles and the skills required for positions in areas such as software development, IT, engineering, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates and collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of potential candidates through various channels, including social media and professional networks.
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and match them to the right candidates.
  • Efficiently manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.
  • Meet deadlines and work within tight timelines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in recruitment needs or strategies.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Efficiently manage time and resources to meet recruitment deadlines, especially in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in technology, recruitment processes, and client needs. Tech landscapes can evolve rapidly, and recruiters need to stay agile.
  • Basic data analysis skills to interpret recruitment metrics, track performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve the recruitment process.
  • Ability to think outside the box when it comes to sourcing candidates, including utilizing niche job boards, social media, coding communities, and other unconventional channels.
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure top talent, including negotiating offers, understanding market salary trends, and managing candidate expectations.
  • A solid understanding of technical roles and the ability to comprehend the skills, qualifications, and experience required for various positions in IT, software development, engineering, etc.
  • Work in an office/On-Site 4/5 days out of the week.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Talent Acquisition, or a related field
  • SHRM Certification
  • 2+ year of experience recruiting in government contracting and technical recruiting in clear space is preferred.
  • Work/experience with the DOD and similar business entities
