UI and UX Front End Developer

The Opportunity:

We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in the Intelligence Communityby collaborating with a development team to build aninnovative toolwith user-centric design.

On our team, you'll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience.Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 5+years of experience with Web Design

  • 5+ years of experience with Web Development

  • Experience withsoftwaretesting

  • Experience with developing with modern front-end frameworks, such as Angular, or React

  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs

  • Experience with visualizing complex datasets in interactive web dashboards

  • Experience with Typescript, HTML, or CSS

  • Experience creating UI/UX mockups

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with graphicdesign

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with supporting customer content managers in accomplishing site creation andmodifications

  • Ability to work on a team to collaboratively executesoftware development life cycle activities, including scope and requirements definition, design, development, and deployment ofsolution

  • Ability to perform interface modifications to tools and support content migrations, workflow development, and solutiondeployments

  • Ability to collaborate at all levels and acrossorganizations

  • Bachelor's degree preferred;Master'sdegree a plus

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
