Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Industrial Hygiene Database Administrator reporting to the Director of Occupational Safety and Health. Our team works onsite, with a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provides support to the IH program by maintaining related databases and tools (e.g., Open Range, Wellnomics, Confined Space Inventory, Asbestos Building Inventory, Employee Job Task Analysis)

  • Provides Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Material Request Approval Process (MRAP) support to the company's chemical management system (Comply Plus Web (CPW))

  • Submits SDSs to Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for long-term storage

  • Provides support to the development, management, and renewal of IH contracts (e.g., analytical labs, reference standards, respirator cleaning, electronic databases)

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • High School degree and 2-4+ years related exp.

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Adobe.

  • working experience with data entry, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support functions of database management.

  • Must possess mathematical skills needed to perform calculations and unit conversions of analytical data.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with chemical management processes and terminology (e.g., chemical nomenclature, inventories, Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) numbers, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)).

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management systems (e.g., Asset Suite, Statements of Work, Requisitions, Change Control Requests).

Job Information:

  • Salary Grade AS0200: 130 ($36,504 - $58,356) / Salary Grade AS0300: 150 ($45,156 - $72,228)
