We are seeking a Management and Program Specialist I.

Located on-site in Portsmouth, VA (St. Julien's Creek Annex).

ESN supports Naval Warfare Center - Atlantic and Pacific for Interior Communications support efforts. We provide contracts and financial support and analysis for various fiscal efforts throughout the year which includes current and out-year efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in responding to data calls, submitting recommendations for program reviews, and tracking outstanding actions.
  • Perform analysis on labor expenditures, hours spent performing task work, all travel costs, and all other direct costs.
  • Record analysis of data within periodic (monthly) and on demand technical and financial status reports.
  • Support the development of various reports and presentation utilizing MS Office for internal and external customer use.
  • Coordinate meetings and teleconferences as required.
  • Support for In-Process Reviews with the government when required.
  • Support contract action processing.
  • Prepare and analyze real-time impacts on funding deficiencies and surpluses and prepare mitigation plans.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in supporting NIWC and Navy projects, or similar, performing above duties.
  • Must be experienced in the use of the MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Bachelor Degree in Management or Finance is preferred but not required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel requirements include possible trips to San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, and Charleston, SC.

Security Clearance:

  • Must hold an active DoD SECRET clearance.
