Delivery Manager (DevOps/Configuration Engineer)

As a Delivery Manager (DevOps/Configuration Engineer) at Cherokee Nation Solutions Link (CNSL), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful implementation and management of complex technology solutions using agile methodologies. You will focus on establishing and maintaining the integrity of software products throughout the project's life cycle, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Delivery Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Delivery Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide configuration management planning and control throughout the project life cycle.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, approve or disapprove, and implement changes in software configuration items.
  • Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
  • Regulate the change process to ensure that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
  • Implement the full CI/CD pipeline from Git repositories to production deployments on Kubernetes, both on-premises and in the AWS Cloud.
  • Create and maintain Git repositories, ensuring proper version control and documentation.
  • Configure and maintain test suites to be executed in Jenkins pipelines, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Implement processes and guardrails, and provide training to Federated Delivery Teams to foster self-sufficient DevOps practices.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Delivery Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • An Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one is required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience serving as a DevOps Engineer in complex technology implementations using agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with GitLab and/or GitHub for version control.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Kustomize for container orchestration and deployment.
  • Strong familiarity with Jenkins Pipelines, including groovy pipeline scripting, for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodology and its application in software development.
  • Proficient in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
  • Experience with Maven for project management and build automation.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and NPM for JavaScript-based development.
  • Knowledge of SonarQube for continuous inspection of code quality.
  • Experience with Nexus for artifact repository management.
  • Familiarity with Babel and Webpack for JavaScript module bundling and transformation.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with OpenShift for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AWS services for cloud-based deployments.
  • Knowledge of ISTIO for service mesh management.
  • Understanding of Gitlow branching model for version control.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.
